The Pi Kappa Alpha Educational Foundation, founded in 1948, is an independent, tax-exempt, beneficent, charitable, literary and educational organization with a 501(c)(3) IRS designation. It is governed by a board of trustees composed of alumni of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Its daily operations are conducted by a professional staff located in the Pi Kappa Alpha Memorial Headquarters building in Memphis, Tennessee.

Its mission is "to enhance the lifelong Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity experience for today's student and alumni brothers and those in generations to come and to assure the enduring prosperity of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity".
